About Rosalind Hart
Rosalind is one of the founders of Quoceant, an innovative engineering consultancy based near Edinburgh. A chartered mechanical engineer, she has over 20 years of experience working on offshore renewable energy projects. Rosalind’s background is in mooring design, numerical modelling and offshore operations planning. Over the last 11 years at Quoceant, she has broadened this experience to include business and novel technology development. Rosalind has been part of the team developing Q-Connect, Quoceant’s subsea quick connection system from first concept through to prototype demonstration.
Prior to Quoceant, Rosalind was a Project Development Manager at Pelamis Wave Power. Working initially in the offshore team she gained extensive experience in simulation and design of mooring systems and in the planning, specification and undertaking of offshore operations. Later she managed offshore site development activities, including surveys and resource measurement campaigns.
