About Robert Salloum
Robert is a Sr. Customer Solutions Manager at Amazon Web Services, where he partners with some of the UK’s leading energy and utilities organisations to shape their cloud and digital strategies, modernise legacy systems, harness data and AI/ML capabilities, and deliver resilient, cost-efficient architectures on AWS. He brings deep experience across the energy sector — spanning generation, transmission, distribution, trading and retail. Before joining AWS’s customer-facing team, Robert built hands-on expertise at the intersection of technology and operations — first as a Digital Manufacturing Engineer at Rolls-Royce, working on advanced manufacturing processes, and later within Amazon Logistics, leading process improvement, technology implementation, and capacity planning across fulfilment and last-mile operations.
