About Nuran Acur
Nuran Acur is Professor of Innovation Management at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. Her theory-driven and policy-relevant research focuses on responsible and mission-driven innovation, circular business models, and innovation ecosystems, particularly in emerging and critical technologies including quantum, electronics, semiconductors, 6G, fintech and connected and autonomous vehicles. She currently leads innovation management research within the £6m+ UKRI/EPSRC REACT Centre for Responsible Electronics and Circular Technologies, developing responsible and circular business model approaches and tools to accelerate the transition towards a circular electronics economy.
Nuran has published more than 60 academic papers and secured over £10 million in external research funding. She has served as Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange at the Adam Smith Business School and President of EIASM, and currently chairs the Innovation and Product Development Management Association, a global community of more than 600 academics and practitioners. She also holds editorial roles with leading innovation journals and serves on international research and funding evaluation panels.
