About Frank O’Connor
Frank O’Connor is a Skills Project Officer within the Manufacturing Skills Academy at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), where he provides project and administrative support across a range of skills and workforce development initiatives. With a background in Society, Politics and Policy from the University of the West of Scotland, Frank brings a strong interest in skills development, education and creating opportunities for people to engage with manufacturing and STEM careers. He is actively involved in STEM and careers engagement, helping young people understand the pathways and opportunities available within Scotland’s manufacturing sector. At NMIS, Frank also supports activities including the Internship Programme and wider Manufacturing Skills Academy initiatives, helping connect learners, educators and industry.
